Honestly, game play wise this game is like a blast from the past with new gimmicks to make itself look fresh, I've yet to completely tinker around with the kart customization but it seems A-OK for now. again, I've yet to try out the online play. However I will look into that now that you bring it up.

I'm also curious if any of the tracks are locked out from Multiplayer in this game like in Mario Kart DS. I remember using an Action Replay so you could select Waluigi Pinball and Airship.

For some reason, the roster's lack of Waluigi doesn't bother me.

Maybe it was time for a change. Mario Kart 7 feels fresh, and a bit faster than previous entries, though that may just be me.

So upon further examination I was able to disable the motion controls in the game by going to the mario kart channel while editing my mii.

I don't understand why they couldn't just make a settings menu on the main menu but okay.

Wait so the option to turn off motion controls are in the Mario Kart Channel menu?

yup, which is stupid to begin with since I'd rather access the settings straight from the main menu.

dumb, dumb, really dumb move on the developer's part. But I suppose that doesn't matter much to the actual game.

I don't know who has a 3ds or not but otherwise I would be willing to make a community for TSR if no one else will

It all depends on what we want to do, like say coin runners, battle, vs., etc.

I have a 3DS, and if i don't get Mario Kart 7 for christmas I'll buy it.

If there is a community I don't think I could tolerate much more than standard races and battle mode.
