im looking for someone who can pump out some different block textures using 16 bit style graphics sort of like super mario world for Snes im making a 2d/mmo/platformer/sandbox game i want to work with someone from here to get original textures if i have to i will pay for a more long term relationship between me and the artist but for now i am still in concept mode i want to ask anyone who knows where i can look or find Block textures and mock ups like wood,stone,metal,lava ect.... the game will allow people to create the world they play in sort of like minecraft/terraria but if anyone out there can help me i would really appreciate it

Im wondering where i can ask for help with my game i cant post in requests and i dont want to spam. Im sure there is a right way to go about this.

Well unless you become an active member of the community (like actually get involved in discussions and be respected), as Sengir pointed out, you can't really ask for help here. I'm not sure where else to ask, but perhaps if you searched for voluntary sprite/texture artists online (or if you're willing to pay, ones that want to be paid), you should hopefully find some. I'm not really good with this though so I can't suggest much else than Google.
As Sengir mentioned though, you shouldn't really worry about graphics until you've got the engine done.

The most important information first: Even if you were allowed to post a request, the chances to find someone here to do you such a favour is zero. Noone would have a reason to help you with your game, as noone knows you or anything about your game.
Your best option is to make your own, even if only as placeholders.
