Pokemon Gen 3 - Underrated or Underappreciated?
#16
Gens I and II I think have the best designs because of the simplicity. I really hate how complicated and inorganic a lot of the newer ones are.

And also, Magmortar kind of took a shit all of Magmar.

I said "grown up" not "adult" as in "they are no longer snot-nosed brats, now they're snot-nosed middle schoolers."

Except that,
his opinion can't be wrong; it's not fact.

They do make more complicated ones than they did previously.

And there are a lot of new, complicated ones.
He said a lot of the newer ones.
He didn't say all of them.
There are complicated ones in earlier gens, but not as much so.

Not exactly. I could draw all of the Gen I and II Pokemon when I was eight. I can hardly draw any of the new ones at twenty.

And thanks Proton. It's true they aren't all complex. I love Pachirisu and Piplup Genki ^_^

Ahhh yeah okay I gotcha now. Yeah some people really start acting like jackasses at that age, unfortunately. I was one of the few not to gain a mindset like that. Video games can be enjoyed at any age, with few exceptions.

There were no EVs, IVs

Gen 1 did have those, actually.

You sure? Could have sworn it didn't have EVs at the very least, but tehre still might have been IVs.

Also, weren't shinies not introduced until Gold/Silver?

I like charmander.

He should have his own gen.

Charmander gen. With nothing but charmanders.

and maybe one oddish for leveling.

first gen was best gen

Yes EVs were in gen 1

Shinies and gender of pokemon were introduced in gen 2 but both of those things were based on stats in such a way that most females can't be shiny in those games.

I also might want to add that I'm very knowledgeable about pokemon when it comes to stats, shinies, gender, nature, and other such things because I breed pokemon more then battle them.

Only some pokemon couldn't have shiny females, it depends on the chance of different genders.

That's also true, it was when the pokemon had a 7:1 ratio of being male I think.
