[x]We're back! After a failure of the drives in our database server, all data has been restored from last night's backup. The last 24 hours or so of submissions will likely need to be re-made but everything else should be okay. Please let me now if you notice anything not working as it should though. Thanks! -Petie

Sir Ethan's Sprites

In the downward chop sequence, the blade starts small, stays small on the second frame, and then gets long towards the end. The sideways slash has the same problem, and has no real shape to it other than being curved. I couldn't fix those without completely redrawing them, and that's just what you're gonna have to do. Take a look at some Megaman Zero or Battle Network sprites to see how an energy sword is supposed to look.

As for the rounder blades I was talking about, take a look:

Notice the blades on the left are jagged while on the right, they are round. Your problem is an inconsistent length of the lines on each segment of the curve. For the shallower part, they should be made of longer rows of pixels, and shorter where the arc gets tighter.

I meant the layered sprites
I make bad content
