this is a game. with 16 million fucking guns, and not just changes of a skin/
its a 4-player co-op shooter in which you are on like a treasure hunt or some shit idk, also has rpg elements like stats and leveling up.
art style is cool

I heard Steam was rumored to get the best Graphics of Boderlands and all the bells and whistles, plus they're saying PC users get DLC first. Soooo, yeah I'm beyond pumped.

split-screen is the absolute worst way to play a videogame

You're the cancer killing local multiplayer.
i'm sorry, i just don't think it's fun being unable to see what i'm being shot by or where i'm being shot at, or in the case of competitive games, being unable to hide because no matter how hard you try, you're going to screen-watch.
also, system link. there's your splitscreen-less local multiplayer that's a million times better.
mario kart is literally the only fun splitscreen game
unless it's 3-4 players on a shooter I actually like Split Screen.
It's fun and it doesn't actually completely shrink everything you see.
Also I'd get this for 360 only because I don't have a very powerful PC to play 3-D games on without the lag.
