Just wanted to draw a scene of some people playing instruments. The Kramer Sculpture I based the microphone dude off of has no detail on the saxophone, so I tried to mimic that. I couldn't get the original shape in the sculpture's saxophone right, so I'm trying to make the shape more interesting. I intend to draw one more guy either screaming into the guys head or some guy dancing in the background.

Suggestions/Help/C+C please?

The phantom bassist looks great, it's such a cool name too.

The newer part is kind of hard to read, but I'm sure you'll make it work better when more is finished.

Does the body being unfinished make it hard to read, or is it the head in general?

Honestly, I had no idea it was a microphone... I thought it was some sort of mask or something.

I think you should add more black stripes on its head so it'll look more like the ref you're using.

Thanks for the suggestions, and while I toy around with the head, which saxophone shape would make a better base?
