In my opinion, the cards will be a great option. Maybe we can do the cards like in Pokémon Channel but with some information about the character in the reverse.

you should add cards that are rare that might move or pop out at you like holograms or a minimovie, just a suggestion.
oooh also try to make a minigame out of it, maybye like the coin shooter in brawl.

I like the Pokémon Channel idea. Like basic card collecting, but as in Pokémon Channel some of the cards have a small animation. And they of course would have information on the back.

Little animations sound neat, but I'm not so hot on animating if your expecting me to make these cards. I'd like to make these cards but I'd like to use the pallet and style of the characters in the game. So those sprites need to be done first.

I had an idea for them. Perhaps I could try to make an outline of the card if anyone would like to see?

I made a bit of a crappy template



The Name goes at the top
The Picture in the middle
and Emblem in the bottom corner

The WHole things needs colour aswell

Well back in 2005 when Melee was the game we were all playing, I made my own template for a Smash card series. Today I edited it and changed a few things. The colors still suck but I'd like to use the official pallet anyway.

This one looks good. Able to convey a bunch of information in a small amount of space.

@-Sooty-, I think yours would actually do better for the player selection screen or something.

I think that we can make three types of cards: Gold cards (For Smash Final, and special characters), Platinum cards (For playable characters, assist trophies, objects, items, stages...) and normal cards.
