According to /v/, Backwards Compatibility will come in a future software update.
I wonder if Sony will pull a Microsoft and backward compatability won't reach the two best games on the system (breakdown and jet set radio future)
and cut out something awesome like Vagrant Story

I think I read somewhere that the 80GB one has backwards compatibility...?
I'll probably buy one now.
It will still be fucking expensive here, though.

nope only the oldest 60gb one has it
Hmm, only $300 now? I might have to save up for one, once I actually have a job. Plus, the backwards compatibility thing is no issue with me, because I already own a PS2.. Interesting.
