I'm pretty sure Deebs remembers Tikal, it's just that she doesn't have a project of her own yet.
And I'm pretty sure she's going by 5 Sonic characters each, like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Eggman to Shadow, Rouge, Cream, Blaze, and Silver, then another five characters.
She'll get to all of'em eventually~
Basically, she's trying to avoid the shit that happened over MFs when she just let her sprites in the wild and said "Go crazy". Instead on focusing on actually contributing to the projects, people started to pull projects off their asses like "LOLOL MODERN GENESIS METTOL" "OLOL MODRN GENESIS TAILS-GIRL-WHO-DOESN'T-EVEN-FIT-IN-THIS" "OLOL MODERN GENESIS RECOLORED CYLENT NITE SONIC".
Glad you posted them here, where you're a mod. This way, you can actually control this all.

Well it feels like everyone just lost interest.
These sprites are awesome and I hope interest isn't lost for good. These sprites made me realise how much Sega could gain from remaking the original four Sonic games with all the new characters in. Instead of these random paper out of the hat ("Oh look! I just pulled out King Arthur for the next Sonic game!") spin-offs. Though Sonic as a knight doesn't feel too wrong... ("Only the Ho-ho-Holy Hedgehog can save us now!" LOL!)
I have to say those sprites are amazing. How often will new character sheets be released?
