And again I edit the link to include the newest revision where the text adding function has been fixed again.
Finally got off my lazy rear and actually added information on V3b's newest features to the bottom of the OP, quoted from my model ripping guide.
Can you post the latest version at the beginning of the OP? Little bit confused here.
I edited the quote in the OP since that's where the original link was.

(Yeah, it's not the same one from a while back. So shoot me.)

Barubary's Icon Maker:

VIDEO TUTORIAL

There is no excuse left to mis-align the text, use a different or blurred font, or somehow screw up the colours of the icon.*

As a Christmas-present, I give you an Icon Maker. Yes, you read the right; an Icon Maker, as in "A program that can make icons". Find it here: Icon Maker v3b

But eh, I went ahead and stuck the link at the top too.
Wonderful, thanks =)
V3b's insanely useful so it'll be helpful especially when making icons with AA'd sprites and the text issue has hopefully been fixed.
Another question:

The icon maker doesn't work for me, do I need an additional program to run it? Like Framework or Java (new PC).
If this new PC don't have Java then yes you'll need that to run it.
Question:

Transparency - Background - Top left Pixel: What does this exactly mean?
It means that it will take the colour of the top-left pixel of the image you loaded as transparency colour.
I thought so, but actually this is what the tool is not doing.

It keeps the picture without any transparency.
It worked fine here when I tested it by making that one pixel a specific colour. *shrug*
Very weird, here is a picture:

What I am doing:
1- Image - Transparency - Background - Top Left Pixel
2- Image - Paste Image

Have I overlooked something?
Try 2, then 1. Otherwise it will select the top-left pixel colour of a non-existing image and probably default to some colour not present in your picture.
Ahhh, perfect. Thanks for your help =)
