The VG Resource

I started this project a while ago, many of you probably remeber it.
Here's the old version: 8bit Smash Bros. v1

Anyway, I've decided it sucks for various reasons (mostly the poses, sizes, and shading on a couple characters), so I'm redoing everything
here's what I've got so far:

Maybe you should re-state the stuff about how it's only the characters from the NES & such.

What you have so far looks mighty impressive!

There's just not a whole lot you can do for an idle animation with these restrictions.

Also, a note on requests:
I'm not really taking requests, but If you mention a character you'd like to see it may very likely happen as long as you follow the rules:
1st party characters are allowed provided they existed by the end of the NES's lifetime.
3rd party characters are allowed if they were primarily NES exclusives during that time (as most of them are what with no competition at all).

Nice to see the Blue Bomber, but his head/face look(s) kinda strange compared to the rest of the body. :/

Maybe make his head bigger?
