Alright, I'll fix it when my internet starts working fast enough to upload to imageshack again.

Edit: I've changed Unknown Textures to Shared GUN Textures
Wait a second... I was rechecking the Menu Theme files -- you mean to tell us that those were in "pieces" when you managed to extract them?! Dang... o_O
Well I don't mean pieces like in an NES game. I meant more like 256x256 pieces and stuff. Thankfully, newer games don't usually store images like that.
Mission Street textures are up. I tried to get them up yesterday, but I guess I got lazy.
Mission street is good. I've gotta use some of these.
Great job! Big Grin
I figured out gamecube emulation!
If you have stuff that you cant find in the games files, do you want me to extract them for you?
I havent done anything in SA2 yet, but I know it works because I ripped a bit from shadow the hedgehog.
Just letting you know that incase you cant find a file or somthing.
Nah its alright. I think I can handle everything for now. I've got Dolphin working as well. Most of the reason I haven't ripped as much from SA2B is because its textures aren't currently convertable by anything I've found. There is one converter I know of for SA2B's texture format, but its for a newer version of the format unfortunately. Why Sega decided to change their format for the Gamecube version of the game I have no idea. I do know that they've used it for a lot of their Gamecube and Wii games since then though.
Ok. Just if you need anything just say so.
What do you mean by the format is different and all?
Ive been using the texture dumper thing and converting them to PNG files for use...
Looks like you made a mistake on Mission Street--there's a misplaced car tile plastered over the "38 Amigo" roadsign.
Ah shit I'll fix that. It happens sometimes when I import a texture and import another before I've placed the other one down. Thanks for pointing that out. Smile

As for the texture thing, I know about the texture dumper, but its easier to just directly rip them from the iso. This way, you can always get everything and you usually find some cool unused stuff as well. Anyway, the texture format I'm talking about is GVR format. I guess its supposed to be a Gamecube version of the Dreamcast PVR format. While work has been done on a converter, it doesn't work yet for SA2B textures unfortunately.

Edit: Mission Street is fixed.
Yes. But I was just talking about if you REALLY needed somthing and couldnt find it in the files but can see it almost everywhere ingame.
I know what you're trying to say, but usually that kind of a texture gets copied into a bunch of different files unchanged to make loading easier. I'm not really having trouble with anything yet, but I'll let you know if I do. If you want though, I can give you the Chao files or something since I wasn't planning on ripping those for a while. If you do want to rip that stuff, I'll PM you the files and tools. Its not that you couldn't rip them with your method, but believe me when I say there's a LOT of Chao stuff. There's probably a bunch of unused stuff in there too.
I could try to help with that.
Ok. Pm me the stuff and all and I'll try it out.
But all I have is my crappy school laptop and such because my home computer is broken for now.
But I can run just about anything on this laptop though.
I'm fairly certain now that the "Shared Gun Textures" are just the textures for the aircraft carrier boss fight between Eggman and Tails, but to avoid more confusion I'll just leave them as they are unless anyone really wants the name changed again. The reason is that I found another texture set just like those, but for the Sonic vs Shadow in Green Forest boss fight. It was pretty obvious what it was this time since there were far too few textures there for anything other than that fight. I'll make sure to label this and any future boss arenas correctly.
