I think they will if they are still around. That place is practically dead...
Yeah, the forums are pretty inactive.
The people that were claiming this to be fake are really lame, they've been discussing it for a while, with our input. ;v

Anyways, great news! Glad to see it happen.
TSGK is joining tSR? Awe, I loved that place! I was pretty sad when I heard n-finity died, but it'll be cool to see his work mixed with the greatest sprite database in the world.

It does make me wonder (now that I'm thinking about it) what happened to spriteaholic. I loved their roleplaying games.

Anyway, that's cool.
I didn't even realise it was 1st Apirl when I posted but you know, I'm gald it was - made it more interesting.

The forums as at TSGK are Captain N forums, and thus no merging of forums will be done. TSGK now has very little "exclusive" sprites from tSR and so for now only Wax's and N-finity's sprites will be going to tSR while the rest are looked through. TSGK will not be updating again, so any sprites in the que will not be uploaded. Custom sheets will be tackled as they come, something that is still in discussion.

If anyone has any questions I'll be happy to respond as a member of TSGK and will ask Wax to confirm anything I am unsure about.

As for a difference of opinion - there is no TSGK community. The Captain N.net people are aware of the changes and have not argued against it. It is quite literally, just me and Wax now.
When is this happening exactly? Sorry if I missed it.
Soon-ish. No fixed date is set as a few details are still being ironed out along with some other surprises I'm sure will please people.
We have to do some changes to the system which should make this a lot easier to do. But we need Sephy in order to do them, but he's busy at the moment, so in a few weeks we'll begin working on it.
I finally got off my lazy ass and came over to visit.
I figured I'd let you guys deal with the, "omg Heart tehhaxxors april1st!" stuff.

Anyway, as for TSGK - the forums there were primarily based around Captain N and the N-Fans. Even when TSGK was the greatest thing on the net since pictures of sliced bread, we still didn't have a 'huge' userbase from TSGK itself. Most of our forum users came through the N-Fans.

Right now, my concept for the TSGK regression is to build a comics portal like the old main page of the Captain N site.
In one of the early versions of the Captain N site, the code that would eventually become TSGK was being used as a show room for users' custom sprites. It all went with the comic community that Web had built up.

I'm kinda leaning in that direction.
God, things were so much simpler back then... I miss those days.
Koopaul, I think you're the most nostalgic person ever.
Koopaul, you don't even know the start of it.
There was never a sprite archive on the net with more than 400 sheets - a monthly update of 30 sheets was stunning amounts.
When people start getting nostalgic is because they forget the headaches back then.
And if you ask me, things are still simple. People are the ones who over-complicate them.

Welcome around WaxPoetic ;p
Yay Wax is here.

So far TSGK's plan to over-run tSR is going well...
I've only known Waxy in passing, but he's a great guy.
