They're W.I.P. sprites from a project I'm developing, named "Another World: Life in College". Their names are Seth (I named before all this fad, so It's not me) and Jess.

Why are they identical apart from thier hair?
College uniforms xD.
So? That doesn't mean they'd be identical. Have you watched any anime where there are school uniforms? No two characters wear it the same way.
Not to mention they should be different in height, build, and skin tone.
(That's a terrible uniform, btw - go and find examples of school uniforms and look at what colour combinations they use)
they should also probably be human

(no face, no contrast in shading, no bodily structure, bad perspective, sloppy hair, and just overall bad)
I don't get why their shoes are facing left at a 3/4 way and their heads, shirt and hair is facing toward us. It's really bad in proportion it needs more real proportion like for example the hands are too small and you need to define where they're facing cause you can't have halve of his body facing us and the other halve facing right.
*Points to title* *Points to Osiris* *Points to Bast* They'renot finished yet.
*points to post, is gay for roleplaying his actions*
that doesn't mean you ignore my criticism. it's notes for you to take heed. "LOL I'M NOT DONE" is not an excuse to ignore tips that we give you.
Uhhh well the guys are way too slim and tall whats up with that and the both the same except different hair style the shading on the pants look pillowish and the colors are bad the out line on the shoe looks wierd it should be dark red outline for some reason i see like grayish.
There just plain bad good luck on magicly fixing them with out listening to these advices.
What you could do is fix the colors make them both different fix up the line art so it actually looks like a human and reshade the pants and shirt with one light source.
ah yes... I remember my red booties back in college...

I don't know how to add faces. They have THAT much hair.

Perspective. Actually all of your point it's badly said, it's badly explained, and basically, you have sight trouble.

Really? Mine were gray. You fail.
Why don't you stop making shitty excuses.
Spriters (well the smart ones) post in this forum to get criticism so that they can improve on their sprites.
Not so they can be praised. So drop your pride, and just accept the comments.
The legs are too short. The shading is poorly defined, is it coming from the left or from above? The hair is a noisy mess, they lack faces, their clothes are too boring and they entirely lack left arms (their left, our right).

Your main problem is that they lack faces right now. It's impossible to tell what they're facing or looking at without some facial structure, thus why Malb thought you were using two perspectives in one subject (not saying it can't be done, but it does require a talented artist to pull off appropriately).
