This is the topic for the SSB Project Ivysaur sheet.
Still working on it, but not lately, caught up in homework

I like it, but it feels kind of traced- I think the lighter areas need outlines (lighter outlines, but still) just as the darker areas do, like you did with his leaves.
if u look closely u can see that i used the next darkest shade for the outline of the lightest shaded areas
Yes but you shouldn't have to look closely.
its like the real thing from the game, but who am i to judge? i can't spite moving characters....... i can but i would get really bored, and i might just give up
Is it even possible to make Ivysaur not look traced while not making look stupid.

Alright, so the obvious question is, how do I make him look "un-traced"
(no this doesn't mean that I won't try to do Link, still thinking over it)
Meh, I wouldn't worry about it. It looks great.
I agree with Ton.
It looks too 3-D. It's supposed to be a sprite.
