Honestly, I think floating could work out. It would just need to change a bit. I know I was the one who put his one leg bent like that, but his other foot is dangling. I don't think either of his feet should be dangling. I think he should be in a standing position, but just have his feet two or three pixels above the ground. And by standing position, I don't mean his feet flat. The way Mewtwo stands is sort of like a kangaroo. He has large feet, but he stands on his toes. Sp have him do that, but then just lift him up a pixel or two.

If we really want to have his arms folded and his legs in that position like a badass, we could use that for his Final Smash. Make his FS be something like him grabbing a person and telepathically smashing them around the stage, while he just floats there with his eyes closed and his arms crossed, making it all happen.

It doesn't only have to be his final Smash, it could be a Taunt too (If I remember, he had a similar 'Spinning Taunt,' with his arms crossed, and hovering in Melee)

Yeah, that's true. And I know at least one of his victory poses had him float in Melee.

Love what you did with the face, but not the legs/crotch area of the tail. Also, I think we're changing his stance a bit. I'll make an update on mine.

EDIT:
So I redid my head using aspects of App's. Turns out I was using the old purple pallete for the eyes without noticing. But I agree, the newer head does look better. I redid the feet to have that sort of "standing on the toes" kangaroo look that I mentioned before, and I even redid the arms so they were hanging.

Like the one without hands crossed more. Maybe he could have the hands crossed as his intro, and unfold (?) them and get into idle stance

He should fold his arms when he's using items. Since he (or at least I remember him doing so) wields them via TK rather than holding them.

imo he should hold out his hands while using items (like he's manipulating them) and have his arms crossed in his idle. it looks more badass

Personally I think the Kangaroo stance is unnecessary. It makes mewtwo look extra cautious, but not in a mental way. He should be less physical looking and look more like hes mentally preparing. Either that, or look like hes fucking king of everything like he did in the previous stance. I think you should make mewtwo's pupil a pixel longer because he can still look angry without having a super small pupil imo. I also think he looks more pokemon that way.



I made some small edits to your current one to reflect on how I think you could improve it. Dont try to overdo the AA or highlighting everything, just try to make it as smooth as possible.
