I think you should make that fighter's arms and head/hair move slightly, and make the legs animate more smoothly ( I have the impression you selected part of the sprite and moved it upwards or downwards) by re-drawing the leg frame by frame. It's nice nevertheless
The mario's fine, maybe put a bit more contrast.

I think that, besides clipping some of the fighter´s legs, there should be more movement, like his retracted hand going up and down, etc. but i loved them!

post your opinions on pisel joint too ^^
