Back in 2021 I was able to extract the mesh data from a bmdl file, but I forgot how. I thought I used Brawl Crate but turns out it doesn't support bmdl files, plus, the info I can get on Google is minimum. Theres only 1 thread and it doesn't help at all.
The proof I was able to get the mesh data:
