I am interested in learning how to extract assets from a 3ds game, but don't know how.

Are their any tutorials out there for a beginner to learn the basics, then gradually work up to more complex tasks?

You can use 3DS Rom Tools (and Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor if it's a CIA file) to extract the ROM. However, extracting content from the game's files varies from game to game. What game are you trying to rip from?
