Well yeah, I suppose I can't call you a sad excuse of a banjo fan if you liked everything around the Vehicular Construction.

You just kinda came off like you hated it immensely, but in reality it's just Vehicular Construction.

Which I enjoyed. As well as everything else. And it was also 40 bucks too, so it's like paying 40 bucks for a 60 dollar game. In my opinion. It's just a shame no one bought it.
The challenges got repetitive as hell, it was too annoying to deal with.

The charm of the entire game lied in the vehicle customization, which did not last long for me.
The point is that they used Banjo for something very none banjo, where it would have been just as easy to make an entirely new franchise. In the process they angered fans, didn't bring in many new players, and the sales show that it was a relative flop for a 360 game.

An all round "Why would they make this game in the first place?"
FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT.

Basically they thought it was a good idea. There must've been some reason they thought they needed to change shit up.

Evidently it turned out not to be a good idea, but I still don't see why people making an honest mistake is a reason to start spitting vitriol. Either it'll go back to being a dead franchise - no harm, no foul - or they'll take the poor sales into consideration and rethink. Nuff sed.
They probably wanted to avoid the media attacking it for being too similar to Super Mario Galaxy...and in the process made it not enough like the old games and got ripped apart for doing so.

Rare just can't win.
Banjo doesn't need to be the game it used to be. It can be something completely different, but I still think it should be something that suits the characters. Riding vehicles doesn't suit their character.
