I've been spending my time trying to figure out how to rip the sprites from Harvest Moon: DS and the girl version, Cute. However, every time I extract the files from the ROM, i find myself with a handful of .bin files with no rhyme or reason as to what files are where.

(the picture's just in Tahaxan because I was trying to see if I could get anywhere with it...)
All the googling I've done in the hopes of getting these files decompressed (i guess that's what I'd be doing?) has led me nowhere, and knowing that there's some sheets from DS/Cute on the Spriter's Resource, I figured maybe folks here could help a sort-of dunce like me out?
For the record, I'm coming to this as someone 100% new to ripping sprites from games, especially DS ones. The most I know is using DeSmuME and the OAM viewer, and I hope that's not what I'm going to have to do here.
