Hello,

Hey guys, been trying my hand at modeling in blender for making some 3d prints. These are for a major project, I am getting into the toy business, toys for the next generation. Now most of my modeling has been connected to getting the looks I want for the Toy trains of my toyline to look right. In that area it has indeed been reasonable in effort to build the parts (90% of the model will be hand built, but till my skill as a sculpter improves beyond the level I am good with I will need 3D prints for certain parts)

As I have been making these parts though I realized some locomotives I want in my series (and yes trains are not all I plan to make as toys. There are to be Action Figures and more!) The parts for them would be hard to make with my skill alone but I do have a collection of Auran (Funny that is the artifacts name from the Neverending story) Trainz CDP files. Unfortunately I do not know how to seperate the Kuids into their file formats that can be converted to STL files.

So I thought I would ask for some help on the matter, I know it is relatively easy to convert models in Blender to a CDP, but reverse it and not so much. As I am not wanting the whole model for this extraction of a solid model is fine just as long as all the bits can be face selected and I can remove the rest I don't want is fine. But yeah would very much appreciate any help I can get, I am not trying to hurt anyone but some models are absolutely impossible without basic parts to build from.

Glad there are so many good Thingiverse makers who do it for free.
