Looks pretty good if you ask me. Seems like they've gotten rid of several things that made the GCN version a bit "eh."
I don't see a pot you have to irritatingly carry... Where's the challenge? No demonstration of multiplayer? The thing that made the original version at all decent?
The challenge here is the gameplay, instead of finding 4 GBA's with link cables for multilayer and screwing around with pots. The 2 main reasons people hate the GCN version.
Essencially though, they made the game what it was. Now with wireless technology, using a DS would be easy as balls, with download play esspecially.

I'd have hated the original game if I only played it single player. But with 1 friend is was fun, with more, it was absolutely amazing. The pot held the challenge, and the bosses were amazingly awesome with how they used it, making a unique game with a great feature of multiplayer.

This looks like a slightly spruced up Final Fantasy 12... Which I can easily say was utter shit.
Seems interesting, I'll probably check it out...

The first one one the GCN was decent in one player...I liked the Multiplayer feature, but I always got stuck carrying the pot =/

@Dazz: Aren't they making a Crystal Chronicles that's for the DS & Wii that would play more like the first one?(I forget the name, but I'm pretty sure I read about it...)

They Are. It's called Echoes of Time, and will be released simultaneously on the DS and Wii. I believe the two games can connect.
I hope it's not like the GC version where you carry that thing around and to stay inside the barrier. Oh, another thing that would be cool would be online co-op, but I doubt it.
