Full Version: Is it possible to crack open a password locked .zip file?

So basically, I'm trying to rip some models from a 3D browser game, and I managed to download a few .zip files full of a few different file types. It was actually quite easy, as they were stored in my browsers cache. I thought this might've turned out to be a nice, easy little starter project for me.

Unfortunately, it turns out the .zip files are password locked. I don't know anything about password hacking, but I did try a couple of guides with no luck.

I've attached one of the 6 .zip files to this post, so feel free to play around with it if you want to.

I'm pretty new to this, so any and all help is appreciated.
Can these help?

(PS. They both show programs for Windows, I can try to find a program for Mac, or Linux OS if you don't use a Windows OS)

Thanks, I'll give them a try and see if I get anywhere.

Luckily I am a Windows user, so no problem there either!

Update: Neither of the sites seem to have working downloads, which is odd.
I found this video on YouTube:
(It says "WINRAR" on the thumbnail, but it shows a ZIP in the video)

Hopefully this can help!

(PS. Here's the software from the video's description: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14aclyPD...xXvwA/view)

I tried it, and unfortunately it just crashes once the process begins.
