hey guys I'm going to do the wapod thing from the kdl3 or what ever it's called. It's the one with Kine and those other guys.
First of all the fairy's name is Ribbon. Cripes, don't people actually play these games? Secondly, you call that a pink? Look at Kirby next to her; THAT is a pink. Her hair, while it might be pinker than what I have in my sprite, looks much closer to an orange than it does to a pink. I would describe the color as "peach" if anything; that is, a pinkish orange.

I will try to change the hair to look pinker, as it's obvious nobody's going to leave me alone about it until I do, but I will most likely have to abuse the color limitations in order to do so, or her feet are going to end up turning pink too.

Yes I'm stubborn. It's a family trait, it seems.
If anyone is orange it's Waddle Dee. Compare her hair to Waddle Dee's skin. It's not orange. It's a simple recolor why are you being so stubborn?
Waddle Dee's skin is actually brown in that game.

Luckily I managed to manipulate it enough so as to not go over the pallet limitations. It wasn't easy though.
Shnaps, ignore them, I found a decent screenshot of Ribbon (that is not so blurry) and compared it with your shot of the color peach and I can say it should be a litter darker than that but it is near the same consistency.

Ville10: It's pretty damn good.

Doesn't her hair poke out like spikes almost?
Technically yes it does but this looks a lot better for sprite form, especially one in a style that uses an outline. It's that kind of detail which I was talking about in my post before when I said you don't have to be so anal as to make it look exactly pixel by pixel like their originals; if you need to sacrifice a small detail in return for better overall quality and style-matching, then by all means do it.

Man this is going too fast, I'm missing too many posts.

What exactly do you mean by "Megasword"? I don't know of a Kirby ability by that name. Do you mean Meta Knight's sword, Master/Galaxia from Amazing Mirror?

Oh yes, that's perfect. I'd say it's pretty much ready for submission, unless you want to add to it.
I really wanted to help because this project is amazing, but meh. The file name of this piece is fail.
it looks like I just badly re-sized the sprite, and it took me ages.

Great, here's the icon:

And please use this slightly edited sheet:

Should I put it under "ready to submit"?
Yes, I feel like it's done, and you all seems to agree with me.
I don't like that blue shine thing. It looks like a muzzle or a mouth or something. That, and it should be at the bottom anyway. KSSU's light source is from the top.
He made it to look like the KSSU Gordo sprites.

I guess the blue might be a tad big though now that you brought my attention to it ...
Is the failure I made okay-ish to be tweaked or something?
I'd really like some crits.
It looks alright. The only advice I can give is to try using the KSSU Sword Ability sprites to help you get the shape of the sword right.
