The Toad sprite looks good so far, but I think the Diddy Kong sprite could use some touching up. He looks a little too much like Mario.
Fixed the lighting on the first and fourth frames of the 6 frame "movement on the ground" animation (with "nonholding" arms) for my better custom Toad, added jumping and falling poses for him, and added "holding" sprites for him (kicking not included):

His hind foot on the sprite where he's jumping down looks a little odd to me. Other than that, the rest of it looks good.
Made more poses for Toad, also improved him, and got rid of his mouth (and keeped and changed it in his jumping pose):

Made even more poses for Toad (and he got his mouth back):

Made a sphere and another shape:

Those are pretty cool. I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't done something like this before.
Improved my custom sprites of Mario and Luigi cosplaying Link (from "The legend of Zelda") by showing Mario and Luigi's eyebrows and colo(u)ring Mario and Luigi's tights to white:

Should "Link" Mario and "Link" Luigi wear gloves?
Gave Bowser a armless "movement on the ground" cycle and improved his tail:

Any improvements to his "movement on the ground" cycle?
In December 27, 2020, I have made a sprite of a Crewmate, in the style of SMB2 ("Nintendo Entertainment System" version):

The Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad sprites are from SMB2 ("Nintendo Entertainment System" version) and are ripped by Arima.
Made this red, yellow, and white (crystal?) circle thingy:
