Hi all! The mobile layout has officially launched. Be sure to clear your cache to ensure all files are up to date and then check out the site on your favorite mobile device! I've been testing for weeks and am pretty confident the major issues have been worked out but of course, please let me know if you find any bugs.

To keep things neat, I'll pin this thread for now and it can be used for all feedback, suggestions, criticism, or bug reports for the mobile theme.
These ads are uh kind of taking up a lot of space

Yes, I’m looking for some way to make them smaller on mobile but for now, the close button isn’t being cut off and is still fairly easy to click so it could be worse.
I think it would be cool to have an option to switch to the desktop version on the mobile.
I can look into it as a possibility but the original layout really wasn't very mobile-friendly and trying to separate it out isn't super practical. I suppose I could make it a user preference and break out the CSS for it into separate files but that's a bit messier than I'd like.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason you'd prefer the desktop version on mobile?

Also, I just made some changes to fix the floating ad size on mobile. Is that better?
The mobile layout is too cramped in my opinion. Like the thumbnails are massive compared to esktop, when they really shouldn't be. Also, the sidebar probably shouldn't cover the entire screen.

Well, i was very used to it and i wasn't seeing anything wrong with.

But i am not stopping you from making a mobile layout, you do what you wish. My point is just a personal preference.
I don't really like mobile layouts. i usually prefer using desktop sites. Unfortionately, this is no exception. Everything feels so cramp and zoomed in.
I completely agree, there's no sidebar with all the games on so I don't know how to search for them and the icons are so big. This is just constructive criticism though, and a button to switch would be so useful.
The sidebar isn't gone - just use the top left menu button and it comes up. The top right menu button bring up the rest of the site navigation. Both of these buttons are positioned next to the logo at the top of the page.

That said, for those of you who really just don't want a mobile layout, it can now be disabled from either the edit profile page on the forum or on the the sites (e.g. on Spriters Resource). Since storing this preference is handled by the database, an account is required to toggle it which means guests will always see the mobile layout but members can disable it at will. I hope this is sufficient for those of you who don't want it.

Also, just as a quick point of reference, the icons are big on purpose. I get that it means a lot of scrolling in some cases but the goal of the mobile layout is to make the site touch-friendly and making everything smaller would defeat that purpose.
On Chromebook it displays mobile.

What’s your resolution? The mobile layout kicks in at under 1000px wide.

It's only on TSR
There must be some sort of scaling being applied then. I just tested at 1366x768 and it shows up correctly for me.
