Does anyone know which file in Sonic '06 has the Chaos Emerald sound effect?
This is exactly why we should start labeling sound effects. It's frustrating to have to look through them all just to find a single sound.

I know. If the Chaos Emerald sound effect in 06 was labeled, then it'd be easier to get it.

Until then, I have to resort to asking which general file contains it.
I'm not trying to be overly rude here but did either of you actually attempt to look for the sound effect in question? I agree that proper labeling of sounds is something that should be done in all cases but this particular question wasn't the best one to use to make that point. You can find the sound, labeled correctly, in the General Sound Effects download available here: https://www.sounds-resource.com/xbox_360...sound/800/

Expanding the zip contents section below the download shows that the sound is indeed labeled and can be found at number 16 in that list (STH Sound/obj_common/SE_Chaosemerald_M_Lp5_Wav.wav).
