If you feel that your rips may be cleaner than the ones currently contributed to the Sounds Resource, you are more then welcome to contribute them to the site as revisions under said submissions, and we would be happy to look at it for you. 
Furthermore, I understand your concern, but please don't worry about "competition". Really in the end, the resources all end up in the same spot, and are contributed for everyone's use! I think the way that I've approached situations before has an elitist attitude, so if I do indeed come off elitist, please note that I do not intend too. To re-iterate, we are always looking for the highest quality rips, so if you feel you may have the cleanest rip available, please don't ever hesitate to submit yours as a revision to the current one. One tip of advice I recommend is to explain in the little "Notes" box provided why yours has higher quality than the current one you're looking to replace. Hope it all works out for you!
