Heyo, I'm pretty new and I was wondering if there was anyone able to tell me where to get started with ripping sprites. If there is already a thread with this topic send me a link and I will gladly delete this one.

Depends on the game and platform you're looking to rip from. If you're lucky you can just open the game's files and be greeted with PNGs, but other times the process will be much more manual. I've not looked through it, but this thread may be useful:
