Just wondering, has model ripping been perfected, or is there a certain type of file that's been considered impossible to rip. I mean, I'm new to extracting models myself, so I'm still pretty ignorant to the subject.

I noticed numerous threads saying both "these are the programs that are used to rip ANY model" and people claiming that games haven't had their models ripped yet, even though those games are pretty popular.
People havent been able to figure out Jet set radio HDs files yet
Dont remember the file type the models are stored in but alot of people
Have said its impossible at this current moment
Rise of the guardians for wii u...seems to be a scene graphic format...if you want to i could snd some more infos
Cyberflix games like Titanic Adventure Out of Time, Timelapse and Dust. Few users have tried successfully at extracting the music from these games.
So far, it seems like any ripping on “Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader” has been ground to a halt. Nobody else was able to figure out Factor 5’s file system, or how to decode the models into something useable, and I’m extremely interested in the snowspeeders, walkers, turbolaser turrets, capital ships, the Death Star’s surface and such. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Here is the thread I’m referring to: https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-33958.html

I genuinely wonder why? Does the ripping software just fail, or is it something more complex than that?

I definitely wouldn't be able to help. I'm too new at this myself.
