Hey all! I'm new here and I want to know how to disable receiving messages through email from other users, cause I don't want my email shared publicly and all, ya know? IS there a way to change that?? Thank you.
Go to your User CP, and to "Edit Options". There's an option for "Hide your email from other members." there. Check that, and you should be good.
Though for reference, your email address is never shown to other members unless you reply to a message they send you. If your email isn't hidden here, it just provides a link for others to fill out a form to contact you but the site sends it and they never see your address.
