***URGENT UPDATE***
Service for Pokémon Duel is being terminated on October 31. This means that nobody will ever be able to play it again, and all of its assets that aren't actually contained in the app file (read: the vast majority of them, including all 3D models) will be lost forever. Please help us preserve whatever we can of this game.

I've ripped a couple models from Pokémon Duel, and I've received several PMs asking how I did it. Well, I've decided to share. I have a rooted Android device that I used to obtain the assets.

I've compiled an archive of the 3D model assets, which is available here:
My Old Model Archive

UPDATE: You can also download directly from the server here (thanks, Hallow):
Server Archive (rename extension to "zip")

The game is Unity-based, and the models are stored in the .unity3d format. To convert these models to an uploadable format, you must use Unity Assets Bundle Extractor, which can be found here.

How to convert:

1. Open Assets Bundle Extractor

2. Go to File>Open and open your file.

3. Decompress to the location of your choice.

4. Click on Info.

5. A new window will open listing all the assets in the file. Look under Type and find all assets labeled "Mesh."

6. Highlight them and click on Plugins on the side.

7. Highlight "Export to .obj," click OK and export to the location of your choice.

8. Look under Type and find all assets labeled "Texture2D."

9. Highlight them and click on Plugins on the side.

10. Highlight "Export to .png," click OK and export to the location of your choice.

11. Apply textures to the model using the program of your choice (I use Blender)

That's about it.

What's ripped so far:

Charizard
Feraligtr
Ho-Oh
Thanks for this. I'm gonna try it out now.
How exactly did you extract the models in the first place (what program/method). I'm currently trying to extract the new models from newer updates.

You have to root/jailbreak your device and find the game's cache folder. Then you have to copy them to your computer while the game is still running. You then have to process the .unity3d files. The name of the program I used actually escapes me, I'll have to find it.

And what new models are there?
A lot. They've probably doubled the number of figures since February. In total there are 316 figures. I like your Makuta Avatar btw.
Oh, duh, I used Assets Bundle Extractor. Something's wrong with me...

Anyway, all you need to get the files is a rooted device. That may have changed, though. I extracted the files from version 1, and it's currently on version 4.
You can actually download around 243 of them off their servers with http://d18jdm46jrj1an.cloudfront.net/bun..._01_1.zips just rename the file extension to .zip once it's downloaded to extract them,  there are other bundle downloads, but the zips are encrypted and can't be extracted. There's a few newer ones in the base APK and in older versions of the APK too you can find this on some apk archiving sites, or use MyAppShare android app to send it to your drive. I'm not sure if this is every figure tho, but it's quite a bit.

Well, yeah, that works too, I suppose. Wink I updated the original post.

The rooms you play the Pokémon Figure Game in are 3D too, do you know if those are included?

I was thinking of the wrong zips file, Android_01_1 requires this QuickBMS script http://aluigi.altervista.org/bms/zip.bms to extract.

Android_01_2 contains more figures and the stages.

Also I found a fix for the other zips, if you have winrar, open them with Winrar ignore the corrupted message then right click the android folder in it select "Repair Archive", here are the other bundle links

http://d18jdm46jrj1an.cloudfront.net/bun..._01_1.zips
http://d18jdm46jrj1an.cloudfront.net/bun..._01_2.zips
http://d18jdm46jrj1an.cloudfront.net/bun..._01_3.zips
http://d18jdm46jrj1an.cloudfront.net/bun..._01_4.zips

That's because they encrypted the figurine model files as of version 734, nothing can open them now until someone figures out how to decrypt them, anything from 733 and below can still be opened however.
Any updates on this front?
They're killing this game in 3 months. After October 31, the game will be unplayable. This is the bane of modern gaming, people: saving space in favor of extreme permanent data loss. It would be great if they made an offline version, but you all know as well as I do that they never will.

It's time to figure this out. Sadly, I'm not qualified for the task. We can rip from the archive of what's already been backed up, but everything that's been added since will be lost if we don't crack it.
If you use Nox 6.1.0.1 and ninja ripper you can rip some if you have them
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...sp=sharing what im working on.

It's better to rip directly from the files.
