It's my pleasure. I love fighters, it's actually surprising to me how little stuff there is ripped for them on sprite sites in general. Maybe that's cause I come from MK Warehouse where all of the 2D MKs have been pretty much 100% ripped for years now.

Anyway, I have another samsho 5 sheet coming up in a few weeks, and after that maybe I'll do some King of Fighters.
I loved that site when you were adding the new sprites. It was awesome to see in real time.

I think there isn't much just because it's so difficult. I tried to do Clay Fighter 1 & 2 a while back, but I just got overwhelmed. Can't wait to see the new stuff!
Good shit my dude. HUGE props on the samurai shodown 5 rips! Loved that game, and has some totally underrated sprites.
Is your ripping method the good ole *kawaks emulator + snapshots* method? I've tried ripping samurai shodown sprites but a lot of times their sprites go out of view and i can't get a good snapshot.
Kawaks has a built-in Tile viewer.
New sheet and probably the last before I take a little break

Haohmaru from Samsho 5. This one was ripped by me and Firejoker54.

Yes that's what I do. And yes some animations go far out of view; sometimes I can't do anything about that.

I found it to be a pain to use and even when I managed to find the sprites (and palette) I wanted I still can't take a screenshot. Probably there's something I don't know but as for now tile viewer doesn't help.

Nice job! You can tell this sheet took you a long time by its quality.
Oh and just so we're clear, Shirt Ninja did most of the work. I only covered the basic movement and normal attacks.
Now If only I could get off my lazy ass and work on my Street Fighter Alpha project... Ouch!
Damn, two years without an update, but here's one now:

This brings the number of Samsho 5 characters to 14, which is half the game's roster. Not too shabby!

I have no idea when I'll be back with another huge sheet like this, (don't hold your breath) but I'll try to be back some time. Some smaller contributions might be coming in the near future.
Went and updated the Kyoshiro (edit: and Dhalsim) sheet while I was at it.
Guess I'm not yet out of the groove again, so let's groove while we still can

Heat Man

Love it!
Still a bizarre choice for a character design though.
A cigarette lighter of all things. XD
It's been pointed out that Heat Man in MMPB has unused sprites hanging out in the ROM. I can look at them (or...their pieces) with the Tile Viewer but I can't seem to get screenshots in that freakin thing. If somebody can help me out with this that would be swell.

Welp, can't believe I'm bringin' THIS ole chestnut back from the dead... buuuut just in case it might help, here's what I usually do.

Me, SEVEN (And then some) years back Wrote:1. Fire Kawaks up and pick the game of your choice.
2. Click on "Video", select "Set Background Color" and pick the color of your choice (Preferably green or purple). It'll be an eyesore for the ages, but at least the sprites will be safe.
3. Click on "Tools" and select "Tileviewer".
4. Once you've skimmed through and found what you're looking for, press the Print Screen button on your keyboard.
5. Fire up the image editing software of your choice (In my case, good ol' Paint).
6. ??????
7. PROFIT!!

When in doubt, improvise.

I was given the same advice already by someone else and it didn't help because my emulator window was bigger than original resolution and scanlines got in the way of clean screenshots.

But I just messed around with my video settings and got it to work. Neat! Thumbs Up Thanks for the help even though in the end I solved it myself I guess.

Also I just made this. I got hooked. Can't stop ripping stuff. Somebody send help.
