Now that I'm ripping sprites on my own, I'm not going to repeatedly ask for sprites anymore... I'm truly sorry for all I've done greedily in the past, but I'm sure we can all work this out, right? Check out the sheets I did, then you can see forgiveness can be received... I don't wanna be -24 anymore...
Sadly I don't think that's going to happen. In order to paint yourself in a more positive light, you'd need to have a very active and very well-liked way of posting.

To be honest, I think that the Rep system is going to be discontinued in a future version of this forum from what I read (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Plus it's difficult to undo the negative rep since half of the people who commented on you either don't come here frequently anymore or at all.
I just want to add that making topics like this, as well, doesn't really make people want to vote up up.
I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but to really convince people you've changed, is to show it. You submit sprites? Cool. So you post more often? Cool. Just be a reasonable guy and you'll get on fine, and maybe your rep will [slowly] go up.
Here, I'll use myself as an example. Look at me rep and post history. See that? That's genuine cringe material right there. But you notice how my post started being less over the top the later it gets, because now I'm not trying to be overly annoying, just lurking and offering my advice to people who want or need it.
Want my suggestion? Post more and interact more with people. Check out the resource sections and maybe help a guy out, or post your Sprite rips there.
Or maybe drop in on real life and drop a post or two making a guy feel better with a bad day, or telling us a little bit of what's going in your own life. We don't bite.

Just use common sense, really.
The reputation system is a visible indicator of what kind of member you are and have been. If you've been a less than decent member in the past, that is clearly shown, and should be shown. The decisions we make are important and our actions can stick with us for a long time! Now what you have the challenge of doing is proving that you aren't a less than decent member anymore. It takes time to change how others see you, so if you really want to redefine yourself, you'll have to work for it. You can't just ask for a positive rep and expect it to happen, life doesn't work that way.

this is gonna feel like the dopeyest post, but like...
if you're cool, nice or make good stuff, people uprep you. it's as simple as that. B)

protip: mods and admins can give you more than 1 reputation point. get on their good side by being a good member, and maybe you'll see some of those downreps quicky undo themselves. Wink Wink

I cant help but think "bribery" when i read this lol.

So ehh... mind explaining where you got all those reps from kosh? You ehh..... you're not hiding anything are you? :^)

Bit as to the topic at hand, like the others said, be more active and show that you are a good member. I mean talking to members about something and just sharing an opinion can go a long way, both here and irl. Maybe crack a silly joke like i did.... just dont make it cringey.... please.... pls.
I feel like Shade addressed this topic properly and nothing more needs to be said.
