Funnie cat because why not?
[Image: attachment.php?aid=11500][Image: attachment.php?aid=11499]

Well, kind of hit a crossroads going back into this one. Between the left and the right I'm not sure which might be the best one yet

I'm kind of partial to the one on the right but if anyone has feedback on which looks better I'm all ears.
Alright, got this finished just today:

Oh, and I did a 1-bit update to the funnie cat

He gonna cause trouble
This guy is bad news
I like the goose =)

I think what most needs work is your anatomy, especially proportions of body parts compared to other each other as well as basic anatomy for hands.

Example: This guy and his hands, they look like arm extensions with sausages for fingers.

Another one: Her hands are way too small, she can not even cover half of her face with one hand.

This one looks like you decided for a picture size and then you ran out of space (some parts like his head look squished). In this one, his hands look ok, but his feet are way too small to carry the rest of the body. His super small wings are intentional, I guess? Tail looks broken too, but since he can use it like a multi-part whip, I guess it's alright.

Gloves need more contrast, fingers look kinda meaty again, but what bugs me most is his face. I assume that you drew the mask first and then the rest of the face around it, which is why it looks a bit distorted. Better try the face without the mask to make it look alright and pixel the arm with the mask as separate entity, which can be then layed over the rest of the sprite.

Colours look nice, house looks nice, but the tree trunk is way too big for such a small canopy (or vice versa).

All in all, your choice of colours is nice and your pixel art looks the best when it doesn't come to anatomy / proportions, like these two:

While I appreciate the feedback in depth and will keep in mind for future works, three of the ones that you have critiqued have been from more than over a year and I've mainly been experimenting with different ways to go about making pixel art with a new perspective in mind.

EDIT: I could actually get some old pixel art pieces I have hosted on pixel joint from 2009-ish to illustrate where I actually used to be before pursuing art as a major, now that I think of it.

I think the other thing too that would be fair to point out with the second example is that I was going off a figurine model that I bought where the hands are actually kind of small, maybe I downsized it too much when I traced over it but eventually it became a more abstract piece where I kind of became less concerned about things being correct as opposed to kind of going nuts with the shapes and juxtapositions. (I'm going to try to do what I can to resize it so I can upload it here if need be)

With the first example however, I would agree with that. That's something I might go back in and fix at some point but it's not the priority for me right now.

But again, thank you for the C+C. I am aware that anatomy is sort of my main issue that I have to be consistent with so I'm wondering whether or not it's worth it to get a hand model to help look at it from observation.
Guys, I'm ready to take my Covid-19 vaccination

I think if I take it once a day it will stay away.

The only thing I'll bother asking is if the reference taken into context for an ongoing pandemic actually goes too far for portfolio standards. Other than that I don't think there is any outstanding issue with the piece itself?
Now I'm just getting more silly than usual.

Day of the Tentacle?

Nope, though I suppose with the palette it may as well be.

Just a tentacle coming out of a toilet.
