If you don't know, it was Mountain Dew's insane way of trying to "appeal" to people. By making something so dumb, it appealed to no-one.

You can't tell me it's trying really hard to be "LOL RANDOM" humour that's a relic of the past.
nope. still, bad decision on the company's part to produce such a nonsensical commercial.
Unless the goal was to make something so dumb it appealed to no one, yet attracted EVERYone's attention!
XD

but yes, i left wondering what in the hell I had just watched.

slightly off topic:
In any case, I gravitate towards Pepsi, root beer, and cream soda.
Anything besides that I very seldom drink.
I also have been trying to cut-back on the amount of soda I am drinking in general, because it's honestly, waaaay too much.
Sadly, it's disturbingly/annoyingly catchy.  Tongue
Manbearpig is still superior.
I know for a fact that neither puppy, monkey nor baby are awesome
Who's that Pokemon?
Perfect example of "There's no such thing as bad publicity." The WTF factor may be high, but that makes it easily shareable, for reaction purposes. You sharing it with other people just feeds into the view count and publicity, and thus, they still get a lot more attention and revenue than you'd think. There is no way to defeat this evil, other than for everyone to simply ignore it. But...that's not possible either, because it's THERE, man!

So deep I found oil. *brick'd*

Yeah, it's so stupid and lame that it got popular for it. I still hate Mountain Dew, so skrew em.
I could totally see this creature as a rejected chimera from Mother 3.
The only thing this ad did was give me a nervous chuckle, if anything.

Not really for me to freak out about. It just makes me wonder how much LSD the people took to make an ad as silly as this.

Life gets a lot scarier than this.
