Have you heard of Peanuts? If so, Have you seen The PEANUTS Movie?
Its crazy to think that The Peanuts ran as a comic strip for 50 whole years and yet it was.

???

I like them better when they're mushed into peanut butter and spread on sandwiches or crackers.

OK, to be fair dipping carrots and celery into peanut butter is pretty good too. But there's nothing more satisfying than just sticking a spoon in the jar and eating it by the spoonful...

Wait, we're talking about the legumes, right?
Charlie Brown is an awful name, I'd never have any interest in it.

(hint: I'm joking, my wife's name is Charlie Brown, and I love Peanuts)

y'know what, I can't hold it in anymore, I'm just gonna let loose and be 100% honest here as pals

You didn't name your dog Snoopy. This is like...such a missed opportunity. Dx
In this case it isn't "unoriginal", it's just brilliant as the stars have truly aligned to grace you with a spouse who just so happens to share a name with a comic strip character who owns a dog by the name of "Snoopy"

or just give him a middle name

Sonic "Snoopy" Brown

or just give her a snoopy plush, i guess that works too

Snoopin the Third
I used to be a huge fan of Peanuts as a young child, especially when I rented and watched quite a few VHS tapes.

But we named our dog before we got married... On top of that, he's named after the first dog we named in a video game together - in Fable 2.
Snooping as usual I see

I never liked the comic strip Peanuts

but I like the food peanuts

here we usually eat them in pé-de-moleques and paçocas
We named our dog before I got married and turned into Charlie Brown though.

I get the feeling this topic isn't being taken seriously anymore...
Unfortunately for you guys, I'm a passionate fan.

I absolutely ADORE The Peanuts. I grew up with it, and it holds a very special place in my heart.
Well, I say I grew up with it, but I didn't actually start reading the comics until after Schultz had passed. My dad got some of those old collection books, and I decided to read them.
There's something very special about Peanuts. No matter how often I read those comics, they never fail to make me smile one way or another.
I actually went through this phase where I was absolutely OBSESSED and I was getting so many plushies and books and shirts... My room is surrounded with Snoopy plushies.
Once I got into high school I started moving out of that phase. I don't even really read the comics as often as I used to, but that doesn't mean I'll ever stop enjoying them.
The movie was an absolute joy. I was worried at first, because when it was starting it seemed a bit too slapsticky. But it balanced eventually.
One of the other issues I did have with the movie, though, was that the ending seemed kinda phoned-in.
A Boy Named Charlie Brown, in my opinion, had a better kind of ending, as far as teaching life lessons goes. Charlie Brown screwed up, everyone was upset. No one was there waiting for him, Linus, and Snoopy when they got back. Charlie Brown goes home, depressed by his failure. The next day Linus shows up at his house, because he wasn't in school. Linus tells Charlie Brown that everyone missed him, and that their team finally won their first game. Charlie Brown says he'll never go back to school again. As Linus leaves, he says something pretty profound. He says the world didn't end, even though Charlie Brown failed. After that, Charlie Brown gets dressed and goes out. He sees Lucy with her football and he gets the idea to try and kick it since she doesn't know he's there. Of course, she pulls it away and Charlie Brown falls flat on his back. But then Lucy walks up to him and says "Welcome home, Charlie Brown."
I think that perfectly captures the spirit of Peanuts. It's something I should have realized long ago, but I never did. I guess I'm the kind of person who has to have things spelled out for me.
