To help Wii U models ripping, I done a easy (at least I hope) tutorial :

You must have :
-Windows 32/64 bit
-Pack : Pack (MEGA)
-3ds Max 2009 to newer
-Good computer (more of 1.5GHZ 2 cores processor and more of 2Go RAM)

Steps :
1 - Decompress the pack and copy *.szs into the extracted folder with the programs
2 - Run SZSMULTIPLE, it extract the .szs (you can extract many SZS if you want, it batch the work)

3 - Run BFRESTEX, it extract the textures from the BFRES.

A folder with the BFRES name is created, copy the .gtx in it in the Convert folder.

4 - Run convertGTX, it convert the GTX files to DDS file.

5 - Start 3DS MAX, click on MAXScript and run BFRESScriptR4
Open BFRES file in the pack.
6 - You have your model with textures in 3ds MAX, you can do everything you want with it (export,modify...) !

This video show how to extract textures :

Don't forget to thank ! Wink

If you have any problem or errors in the tutorials tell me!
wait, so I saw we needed 3DSMax, but will c4D work here or not?

(computer specs: nvidia geforce 940m, 8gb ram, intel core i5 2.5ghz dual-core)
nah, doesn't work
No but you can try to adapt the script for Cinema 4D (it will be long !)
3ds max is very used in the video game world, c4d only for CGI.
You can download an 30 days version.
is there a tutorial on how to rip the 3d models from wii u?
This. Where you encounter problems ?
alright, i'll try the 30 day version.
It work without problem.
I could fully automate SZS->BFRES->Textures to PNG->3dsMax Import->DAE Export with that, quite helpful for all MK8 tracks, thanks!
Ok, the new link is in the original post. Do you can remove the quote, it's unecessary in your post.
