Time to do something I've never done before... Make a spriting thread that involves more than one sprite or sprites!

Perry the Astronaut... Based on what I interpreted on a blurry picture of a quarter

And finally a large collection of stuff I made for a robot game... I suck on enviromental effects and explosions...

Hey, I'm really liking what you've got here! Your refining leaves a lot to be desired, but there's a lot of personality in these characters and your animations look pretty smooth. One piece of critisism I could offer up would be to play with the astronaut's palette a bit, because it looks a little bland right now. You've got a plain gray scale going on here while most astronaut suits actually have a little yellow or violet tint to their shading.
You have a really interesting cartoony style, I like it. Keep up the good work. Smile

PURPLE PERRY!
Oh yeah, that's really nice. Wink

Now just brighten up those shades a bit, clean up your anti-aliasing a little and you'll have a mighty fine set of sprites on your hands! Here's an edit to show what I had in mind:

I also made an attempt at making the hands and feet a little larger. Anatomy isn't one of my strongest suits, but I think it's an improvement.
I call it a gaunt. Its one of my first attempts at a mob for my friends game. I want to get better at making "Gothic" style monsters. Kinda like Castlevania. Tell me what you think!
Dude if you want critique on your sprites then post them in your own thread instead of raiding someone elses. Read the rules.

you can't...

Also Thanks for the suggestions on the AA Dragon, it looks really nice

Please do not report other people's posts when they are fully entitled to post sprite that they have created in their own thread. Do not hijack somebody else's thread to gain critique - create your own. I'm issuing you a warn because of your double offense - misuse of the warn system and thread hijacking.
HURAHHH! Look what I found underneath all the stuff in the pictures folder!

Ray Guns!
How about making the body move a bit as a result of the gun recoil? It'll make it look less stiff otherwise.
[Image: U1ZL1BQ.gif] Is this any better? And Any crits on the ray gun?

[Image: f5FQqap.gif] that should fix that line wonkiness
The first gun on the line of the ones you sprited diagonally, It's has a circular barrel but it looks like the bottom half is just cut off. Try making it a more complete circle. (meaning that we should be able to see the bottom half of it at that perspective to a degree)
[Image: JKF1EBB.png] Thats because the muzzle has a kinda bowl shape to it... But if it helps with readability I changed the shading
