At least I already got the textures, and the model itself being in the .mbn was helpful!

Thanks, I'll look into this.

ur welcome.

any update on that 1 model rtb?
Very interesting. It's amazing how you got into the game and have started pulling out the models. Do tell, how do you do it? I'm very interested on how you managed to get inside the game. Can you do that step by step?
Could you rip Tails,Knuckles and Silver's trophy models?
I HATE MY LIFE

I got a smash4 (both wii u and 3ds) update dump but 3ds max is giving me licensing errors with no option to re-enter my key. Can't rip them at the current moment T_T. No cloud/bayo for now.

Maybe try installing the Student Version of 3DS Max, unless that's what you're using right now. In that case, reinstall 3DS Max Student Edition.

I just installed Windows in a vm and ran it because I've got a bunch of corrupt reg keys for 3ds max that have to be deleted manually. Doesn't tell me what the last couple are in the errors so... Currently analyzing the installer file so that I can fix it myself for my main install. Good thing is that it works and I can rip dlc models now.

Yes that is the entire Smash Run map in Blender.
So colourful... Starry Eyes

Vertex colouring certainly makes a world of difference for maps, it wouldn't look quite as nice with only the texturing.

Yea, I plan to release it also as a Blender Cycles engine .blend that takes full use of the vertex colors to look exactly like the map does ingame. The submitted fbx will need some tweaking obviously when imported into whatever program. Will also have as an .obj but I doubt .obj supports vertex colors at all.

This was even easier to get fully stitched up than pokemon xyoras maps. Those are layed out in a grid. This literally needed no tweaking as everything is at the correct offsets from 0,0,0, just in separate pieces.

that is correct, OBJ has no support for vertex colors. but damn, that does look nice!
Also I plan to do other stages. I've acrually ripped cloud's 3ds model with full animations. I can likely port them to his wii u model now that it's been ripped too.

the bones rotations are different in the 3ds version compared to the WiiU version, so the animations will not look right.
