with recent advances in technology a  full body vr gaming system could be around the corner but vr has gotten a bit of a bad rep what with games over doing the gimmick and such. so im asking what are some idea's for a game  on a vr gaming system (for this example it doe's have full body motion capture ability) in which the experience would be greatly enhanced by the vr rather then it becoming just a gimmic.
Can I ask why this is in Game Development?
Are you making a game?

As for VR, I really don't see the gimmick.
I'm fine with my 3DS really.
I don't know why people hate the 3D on It. It's awesome.
And is going to be MORE awesome when Majora's Mask comes out.

legit enough  question i posted a thread about weather anyone would fund  a full body  vr thing and i got told it belonged here and i got a minus to my rep thing. so i figured since this is about what people would make for such a system it should go here was i wrong.

as for why people hate the 3ds 3d so much its because when they use the trial one in stores since they cant movie it to where they want it and since you need to look at it at a curtain angle  it gives the illusion that it is cumbersome.

and i agree with you it is awsome
I dunno about full-body VR, but I would love to see an Elder Scrolls game on Oculus Rift. They just need to work out a way to make it feel like you're using a mouse and keyboard when a full keyboard wouldn't work so well on the OR. Hmm, maybe a flat gamepad in one hand and a mouse in the other... great, now you've got me designing hardware.
Well, I did vote, so I might as well say I can imagine a racing game in VR.
Sorta Gran-Turismoish, but with a cockpit view. Or something.
