Hey, this has always been something that I've noticed, but I never thought to ask it until Colton and I discussed it in the chat. Why exactly can we not view the reputations of banned members? Is it due to the possibility that there is no easy way to achieve this without barring the option to change the reputation for the banned member?
This isn't something we've manually disabled - it's just a function of the banned group. Because reputation (along with everything else) is disabled for that group, it can't be given, edited, or removed from a banned member and, apparently as a consequence of this, can't be viewed either.
That's a reasonable explanation. It would be nice if you could change it to allow other members to at least view the reputation, but if it's hard coded in a way that makes it too tricky, then it's no big deal.
It's not that it's tricky. It's that it's impossible. We either need to enable rep to banned accounts or leave it as is. This is really a non-issue for the most part so we'll be leaving it as is.
