does anyone know how to rip the maps/stages from scarlet and violet? obviously the entire overworld would be difficult, but i'm just looking for stuff like the individual rooms there are.

where is that file explorer scene where you replace the model? i dont know where that is. im so close to getting the animations but i dont know how to get to that screen. thank you if someone can help
Does anybody know how to use the freckles mask for the characters in Blender?
Oh boy, look at the time! It's Shilling and New Tutorial time!

Here is the Video on Pokemon Legends: Arceus Models and how to set them up, including how to convert the Textures into .png file!
(I do suggest going to youtube and looking at the description, as that provides some very good extra information that I didn't include in the video)

But now I'm going to be making a new Tutorial over Scarlet Violet stuff! Including the Blender Importer that YeraySL has graciously provided us.

I will likely edit this post when I get that recorded and posted. But for now, it's Time To Learn the New Things.

I have 3ds max, if you help me with this stuff I can help you with it, I'm completely lost and do not have much time to investigate bc of the amount of work I have.

please friend help me to be able to make sprites like this, I tried reading several parts of the post but I don't understand because I'm very new, could you share a step for dummies? I will thank you in my soul.

I have everything, the part I'm missig is how to import the models to 3d max, i would import but the program do not recognize it

Can you do a tutorial on the future paradox pokemon? They're missing some stuff in Blender.

Blender mporter makes PLA textures/materials too so you dont need to setup layeredmask (lym) since the blender addon does It for you
Have the terastal hat model been uploaded anywhere?

I assume the effect around terastallized pokemon is a shader or something, although if someone know how to imitate it in blender, It would be helpful for me, their additional "hat" for each type seem like it own model for me.

Yea, I made that tutorial wayyy before you posted the Blender addon. So it still uses 3ds Max to convert the models into an FBX to import into Blender. I've actually recorded the new tutorial using the Blender addon, so I just need to edit then post it. (i really like the blender addon, makes things so much easier)

Also, I do have one nitpick on the Blender addon- that being all the nodes are stacked on top of each other in the center of the scene. It makes it really annoying when I want to go in and edit. I don't think that's changeable(?), but I don't know my way around blender importer code, so I could be wrong.
also that there was a lot of excess nodes on some of the materials that can be simplified a lot more, but I'm thinking it's just a limitation of what you can do with the code rather than anything else. limitation of the code being that you could only make one universal material for everything rather than having multiple different ones.

The eyes do some really funky stuff, I've figured out by messing with one of them. But it's the typical funky stuff that the models from older games do, so I just made a quick lil nodegroup that handles a bit of the stuff. also should note that the black mesh that's on top of the eyes is just Glass, so you can delete the nodes there and slap a GlassBSDF node in there, color it black, and it'll be good.
So I will be releasing that nodegroup along with the regular tutorial.

I just use Node Arrange it fixes it with one click

hello,Thanks for your work!I got the lono mod and import into blender but I found it dont have the mouth bone。Is the way I imported it wrong?or at this stage, I should create the mouth bone in blender?

hii !
the textures from hair > p0_hrs0018_gibsontuckf < are missing, as are a few other hair textures. I'm wondering if they are placed in other folders ( maybe NPC shared textures ? ) or something, or if they just haven't been ripped yet.
thanks !

It's imported correctly, it's just that those models don't have face bones and instead have face morphs, and the Blender script currently doesn't have support for importing those.

Those ones are shared textures, yeah. Those are all located in the "share" folder (packaged in "SV-TrainersSharedTex" in the collection), and you'll be looking for the following textures there:
Code:
cm_hr_hairstyle00_alb
cm_hr_hairstyle00_flw
cm_hr_hairstyle00_nrm
cm_hr_hairstyle00_rgn
cm_hr_hairup03_alb

i think i worded this weirdly; i know the models are up for people to rip, but stuff like locations (like the school, the gym lobby, the sandwich shop etc) don't seem to be there. i thought they would be in misc, but that seems to be for objects
