Full Version: Gussprint's Sprite Central Showreel
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
It's that time again, ladies and germs. The 'Central' is officially back in business!

As per usual, each of the rips shown here is always checked, primed and (Most of the time) with every sprite from the data. Sometimes, one sprite or two may end up slightly different from the original source, but you can be sure the differences are always minimal at best.

With that out of the way, I'll leave y'all to the rips. Enjoy!

Yes, yes, I know it's a double post. I just need to address a few things about this rip.

Type 2B: Melty Honey [Metal Slug series]

DESCRIPTION
I just went and gave its weakpoint away with that quote, but oh well.
Anyway, this tank usually stands in your general vicinity firing semi-homing rockets at you. Most of the time, you'll find them with a Tempered Shield mounted on the front for additional armor, as these things aren't quite that durable on their own.

Of course, even that isn't enough to protect them(And the rider) from a well-aimed 'nade lob. You'd think installing a second shield above the cockpit would be a smarter option.

COMMENTS
Ayayayayaya~ this was one doozy and a half. To begin with, the initial tiles batch was a bit of a pain to assemble at points, so I ended up taking some of the sprites via snapshots. And then there's the extras.

...Oh yeah, forgot to mention that. The sheet also includes a set of sprites exclusive to MS4, sorta like with my Bradley rip from long ago.
In Mission 5, there's a blue-colored Melty Honey(Known as the "Metal Crow") which can be hijacked. Like with the Bradley, its sprites are edited Melty Honey graphics with some new animations.

Some of which were an outright pain to obtain.
Anyway, those sprites were recolored and edited to match the rest of the sprites. Which once again basically amounted to "Replace the entrance hatch", go figure.
*Activates the computerized stereo. "A Thousand Miles Away"* starts playing in the background.*

Well, summer's almost over for most of the planet. Me, I don't even know if we HAD a summer to begin with, and not just 'cause my internal clock went to lunch and never came back.
Either way, I've been busying myself with some personal stuff, but I managed to scrounge up a rip update a few weeks ago, give or take. Here it is.

Now, looking back at the old sheet you'll be wondering "Wait, why does this need an update? Looked complete to me.". And indeed, all the old rip was missing was just some SFX. At first I figured I'd go and grab those, add them to the existing rip and call it a night, but then I decided "Ya know what? Let's just re-rip the whole dang thing.", and here we are.

This time, everything was tile-ripped from start to finish, with the exception of the flashing 'nades and their explosion, which I simply pinched from my own rips and recolored with their proper palette. Not much else to add here.

*From "Paper Mario: Sticker Star". Say what you want about the game itself, but the music is just gorgeous.

EDIT: ...It just occurred to me. I have no idea on how to submit an update to an already existing sheet. What do I do?
