A is best. B just makes him look smug, and Kirby should be happy and hyperactive, not sad.

this is kirby's default expression, in almost if not every game he's ever been in, you can check official kirby sprites from stuff like super star ultra or return to dreamland or whatever game you want, he always has that expression.
That's not because he's sad, he just doesn't run around everywhere smiling.

this is what he looks like when he is posing, it isnt his default.
I know, but I still don't think it fits. Plus, doesn't he smile in the Japanese versions, or is that just the boxart?
It's the boxart, he usually is smiling on the boxart, just like how mario often smiles on his boxart, but doesnt run around grinning while he's out exploring new worlds and beating up koopas and stuff. Neither character is supposed to be frolicking around in-game, they're going places and battling things. Furthermore, it's the character's design, kirby's mouth isnt even that wide, even when he is smiling it's a triangle shape. He might not be a thoroughly developed character, but he has a wider range of emotions than "happy" and "injured".
I guess smiling all of the time would be a little weird, so I gave him the basic expression like you said, but he still smiles sometimes like when he does the victory pose.

This should be the whole sheet!

Here it is, Braxien's sheet should be completed now!

I was on a weird monitor while redoing the palette, so let me know if it looks weird.
Is it stabbing or slashing with the bonethingy? If it's slashing, it should have some overhead animation too, so the bonethingy goes in a nice arc. Either way, it looks like the range is too small. If it took more of a step forward and twisted the torso a bit more, you could have better range.
I thought there was no need for range on the animation, since I had in mind fire coming out of the stick. I should probably point that out on the sheet.
The P-Balloon pose has some weird feet. Probably shade them differently?

I tried a reshade. The structure here is pretty confusing to me.
IIRC, Braxien uses ranged attacks by then holding up the stick and letting the projectile shoot out.
If you're going to use ranged attacks, why not add some recoil in there?

I added a forth frame to show it pull back, and changed the others to add some more range like you said.

I merged this with the current animation so it can double as a melee attack animation.
I'm too lazy to work on an new sprite sheet right now so I edited Kart Luigi into Kart Mario.

Edit: I just realized that editing a sheet is sometimes harder to do than remaking from scratch. It would've taken longer, but I think it might have been much easier to make this sheet.
The only thing I didn't like about MK's sprites were that the wheels simply don't move. So it's like we're playing with accelerating statues, lol. But your custom sprites look good. I just can't shake off that there should at least be a secondframe for the wheel's rotating.
