Ripping some Super Star Wars would be fun. Pretty sure there's some compression business going on with most of the graphics, but it would make for some good practice.

Well, it's officially been five years since I joined up here. Time sure does fly when you're ripping 2D graphics from video games as a hobby that you don't really understand why you enjoy. I guess it all works out in the end and I'd say I'm pretty glad to have spent some of the past five years hanging around here. Thanks for being cool everyone!
Since the entire purpose of me joining was to submit to this game, and this fella was the first character I tried to rip (failing miserably, of course) it's only appropriate that I finally finish it. It also worked out to where it's my 500th sprite submission so that's pretty cool. Okay it sort of worked out. Okay I submitted a few things to bump up the submission count but it's still special and miraculous.

That's based on post count, actually. Once you've made 250 posts you'll get the senior member title and a nifty second star above your avatar.
Question: Are you going to do Supersonic Warriors 1 sprites and mugshots?
I would absolutely love to rip more characters from Supersonic Warriors eventually. It's a bit tedious to do, so I'd have to be in the right mood, but the section is still missing Mecha Frieza, Ginyu, and Krillin so I'd like to add them eventually. Actually, most of the characters currently on the site warrant a re-rip so that's another thing to consider.
Mugshots are doable too, but it seems like you might be working on that yourself?

Maybe, but not right now. SSW 1 has way more mugshots per character, plus some like Mecha Frieza can't be flipped, since he's asymmetrical.

Been a few months. Hopefully I can dig into this game some more and rip a few characters soon (they're
slightly different from the DS counterparts), but I'm sure school will get in the way so that might be wishful thinking, but it's still a cool idea!
