SSB4 Greninja Pose:

This is 100% Done, and was uploaded to The Spriter's Resource. (Not confirmed to be added or not, but I'm hoping.)

M&L: BiS Styles Super Team:

This is a W.I.P. of the Super Team from Super Mario Strikers, it is going to be an Enemy Battle. I uploaded this because I wanted feedback on how the Design/Pallete look, what I should keep/change, ect.

These are both custom, so don't ask-aroni-and-cheese.

EDIT: Fixed the Super Team Robot's Left-Leg Position.
The greninja is pretty decent I guess, but extremely pillow shaded. Or at least how I see it. Same with the robot you also posted, I would suggest fixing the leg on our left, it doesn't seem to be quite in place correctly. Hope I helped a bit.

Thanks for the advice, I'm kinda new to this stuff, but I do agree I flawed the shading of Greninja (ESPECIALLY THE LEG ON OUR LEFT), and the Super Team robot seems fine to me, but I do agree that it's leg seems a bit out of place. I'll fix it ASAP. Big Grin

Fixed it. Big Grin
You should probably upload your images to an image hosting site, because I think using attachments is against the rules.
If it is, that would be kind of stupid since it gives you the option in the first place. :/
It states pretty clearly in the Universal rules thread that attachments are not advised, and are prone to deletion

also, from a graphics-critique site standpoint, it seems much simpler to actually post your content visibly in your thread,
rather than expect people to simply click random links in order to just simply see them

bad form and all that

As for your sprites, pretty sure Greninja is a retrace of official artwork which suffers from extreme pillow-shading, banding, and conflicting light sources

as for the robot, im not familiar with BiS style myself, but im pretty sure that doesn't quite fit it
It also has a lot of banding going on, makes the sprite seem flat and blurry

If only I knew how, and if this is the case, THEN WHY IS THERE EVEN AN OPTION TO DO THIS!? JESUS! Angry

inb4 someone says "OH, YOU SHOULD READ THE TUTORIAL!" well, I LOOKED FOR A TUTORIAL, AND IT JUST LEAD ME TO THE SUBMISSIONS THREAD, AND I HAVE ALOT OF REASONS TO BE CONFUSED.
IF THEY'RE GONNA ADD AN "ADD ATTACHMENT" TO THE MENU, I'M PROBABLY GONNA USE IT. IF IT'S BANNED, OOPS, SHOULD'NT OF PUT THAT OPTION THERE!
Calm down! Just calm down… You'll be more likely to get a good response out of everyone here if you just keep your cool.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this is the right answer for certain, but I think it is a leftover of the overall forum template used to build this forum. Based on my my knowledge, nobody here built the forum from scratch, so to save time and grief, they had to use one from MyBB. One of the features of the forum chosen was the ability to host files, but since it is inconvenient to do that and it takes up bandwidth, it become forbidden to use that feature.

As for why it has yet to be removed, my guess is that considering that nobody here ever created the forum itself, I don't think that not even Petie knows the coding to properly remove the feature without causing major structural damage to the forum.

This is not the right place to complain about it. Go to the 'suggestions' thread instead.
Most likely the option is there because its part of the base forum that TSR is built off of. I myself don't know how hard it would be to remove it since 1. I'm not the owner. and 2. I am not experienced with that kind of stuff. I would recommend trying to keep your cool though, since sometimes it causes problems and pretty much everyone will get mad and then the bannins start. So yeah just upload the images to imgur or a similar site and use the [img][/img] tags to get something posted correctly for everyone to see by posting the link between [img]here[/img]. Should come up like this [Image: dc0df8edcb778f12e0da2ae3c9267c31.png]
hey man, if you'd read the rules, you'd have already known

throw a hissy if you want, but thats how it works here

the fact that the option for attachments is irrelevant simply because the forum rules clearly state that they are discouraged
(secondary rules, Spriting and Pixel Art, rule #5)
i do not understand why so many new users have such difficulty in following the simple request to use [img] tags
Attachments removed. Go use an image hosting site instead, bro

But i'll teach you why we do this! You know, tVGR is built upon a template named MyBB. Basically it's the skeleton of a forum, and we edit it to our liking. However there are some items that are hard coded into the template, and attachments are one of those.

Those aren't encouraged because it clutters our forums, and it's generally a pain in the butt for the others to check. As you saw, the attachments didn't show as embedded images, which are 100 times more efficient to show. Don't you want to be more efficient?

so, use an image hosting site, such as imgur to show your work. If you don't know, here's a quick tutorial:

1: go to imgur and click on 'Computer'.

2: an Open File prompt will appear. Choose the files; you can choose more than one at once.

3: Click 'Start Upload' and wait for a couple secs.

4: After it's done, check the right side of the screen, there should appear a table with a bunch of links. Choose the BB link, the ones with the [IMG] tags on it. Copy that link.

5: Paste it on the post.

6: Here's the result.

This way, you can instantly show your sheets without needing to click on icons first. Note that tVGR resizes images that are wider than 700 pixels.
I post here just to add something.

If, like me, you have a Dropbox account, you can use it to host your pic, as long as your files or the directory containing them are INSIDE the /Public/ folder. Wether you use the Web version or a plugin for your file manager (Windows Explorer, Nautilus, etc. depending of your OS), you right-click on the file you want to link, then choose "Copy Public Link" (on the Web version, it will display a dialog window containing the link you have to copy), then you put your link like this :

Code:
