I personally use the batarang controller, and can confirm that it is one of the best controllers out there. It's pretty much a superior, refined 360 controller, one that's even more comfortable to hold, and the D-pad design is great, which was arguably the biggest problem with the standard controller.
And, the fact that it's a batarang makes it even better.

Recently I've also been using this one;

Which is -almost- equal to the batarang. The D-pad is about as good as the standard 360 controller's, which is to say it isn't good at all, but it mostly makes up for this by being generally very comfortable and with the addition of two buttons on the underside which can be mapped to most of the d-pad/face button functions. This critical d-pad design failure has still gotten me killed several times in Dark Souls however, mostly because aside from feeling not so great to the touch it has a habit of registering diagonals when it shouldn't.
One of my favorite features of this one is that the face buttons are flat, which to me feels more comfortable than the rounded buttons found on most controllers. The backlit analog sticks are nice too.
I don't have a GCN, but that controller is fantastic. The GamePad is great, but my hand hurts when I'm editing rosters in Madden using the D-Pad. I've never had a problem with the N64 controller, but that was my first system so I might be a little biased. The PS2 is fine, I hate Xbox, and I don't have any, but that controller is not terrible. I can totally read that

Sorry, here's the link to it: http://www.memecenter.com/fun/1049448/n64-controller

Okay, so my little brother has wanted NBA2K13 for Wii U ever since we got it, and last night we went to Wal-Mart to get the game. We take it home, edit the rosters, are really excited to play it, and, we can't. We can't play 2-player until we get a Wii U Pro Controller, which I've wanted since we got the Wii U. We're going to get it used, so any recommendations on where to get it? Only the official Nintendo one.
I'm quite liking the PS4 controller. It's comfortable and easy to use.

The touch-pad in the middle is kinda stupid though. It's mostly been used for its click thing as Start and Select buttons though inFamous: Second Son shoehorned in some swipe-motions that totally couldn't have just been a button press.

I'm not really sure why they decided to put a touchpad in. As you said, not many games use it yet. I don't know, maybe it's like the GamePad thing; devs haven't figured out how to use it to its potential yet.

About the odd N64 controller shape, ever heard of the Hori Mini pad?

It's a third party controller that was only released in Japan that apparently is much easier to hold, has a real functional joystick and just overall is 10x better than the original. They are ultra expensive to try and get your hands on here in the states. I want to try one out so bad though...Cry
I do have a rare N64 controller, however. It's the Donkey Kong 64 controller. It's in very rough shape, I'm thinking of trying to restore it by ripping apart a plain yellow N64 controller, removing all it's components and putting them in the DK64 controller.
More N64 controller stuff, I recently replaced the joystick in one of mine with a Gamecube style joystick. I must say, the durability is great, but it has sensitivity issues that make it near impossible to play some games with. Meh.
I have a hori mini, it's great unless you need to use the D-Pad

I would just recommend a 3rd party replacement analog for a standard N64 controller

also got that Batarang controller and it's bossssssssss

That looks pretty cool, but I have a bad feeling about the placement of the D-Pad.

The thing I like the most about the Xbox controller are the R2 and L2 or whatever they're called, the triggers.

They're usually referred to as shoulder buttons.
Ah well, whatever, they're nice triggers.

Wii Classic Controller never appealed to me at all.
Can't we get an N64 controller with a design that pretty much mimics the GCN controller?

That Hori is way too clustered up... and come to think of it, most third-party controllers have all kinds of weird odds and ends that don't make a lot of sense.
That's why I stick to official Nintendo controllers.
Favorites: PS1/2, GCN, and Wii U (gamepad).

PS1/2 because it's extremely comfortable and well-made, and fits my tiny girl hands very well, much more so than the fat, bulky Xbox 360 controller. Even though the PS3 controller keeps the same design as 1 and 2, I don't like it as much, only because its L2 and R2 buttons are very uncomfortable. Haven't tried the PS4 controller (I don't have a PS4 yet), so I can't say how I feel about that one.

GCN because the placement of buttons, analog stick responsiveness, and overall design is oozing with perfection.

Wii U because it's very comfy despite its huge size, has great touchscreen and gyroscope integration, and you can even take your game to its screen if someone else needs the TV for something. Plus, its triggers are digital rather than spring-loaded, which is perfect for action games.

Least favorites: N64, Xbox "Duke", and Dreamcast.

N64 because of its three-handled design, its strange button placement, its stiff analog stick, and its overall uncomfortable nature.

Duke because it's way too big and bulky, its button placement is terrible (ovular buttons and an XAYB layout rather than the standard ABXY or BAYX), and roughly 30% of it is taken up by the SYSTEM LOGO.

DC because of its square, spaceship shape, and its slippery analog stick (if your hands tend to sweat like mine do, then you'll find your thumb slipping off the analog stick constantly).
