This isn't strictly true; I own the servers that my sites hosted on. Raz just helps administrate them. I am in full ownership of everything related to tSR, Raz and Pete just help me out with technical aspects. Rob and Pete don't own anything to do with this site. Rob just comes around every couple years and breaks stuff.

Additionally, Bacon ran the site for a couple years, BAB updated once, and then I took over; I've been running it for about 8 years now... It's pretty much a completely different website than the one it used to be.

One does not prevent the other, i think. The fusion is a good idea but i dont think it should involve the counters. Having three specific monster at a single time is rather hard, if you add the fact that you need counters, its gonna be next to impossible to do it.

Needing counters (like maybe 2 sprites on each monster) for the fusion could work yeah, then they don't seem wasted.

About the Level, it doesnt change a lot, but there are card works only with the "Lvl" terminology like "level up". Also, it could just be one person that is represented as a level monster, not all mod need to be like that.

The counter should never feel wasted if we have cards that uses the counter wherever it is. For example, Sprite world and Submission, the two cards i suggested before can remove counters from any creatures.


Heres a more developed idea if go for the level thingie:

-Ressource Member - Dazz Lvl3 - Creature - Level 3 - Atk 1600 - Def 1000
At the end of turn where "Ressource Member - Dazz" destroyed a creature by battle, put a "Sprite" counter on "X". At the start of your turn, if there are 2 or more "Sprite" counter on "X", tribute " Ressource Member Dazz lvl3 " and special summon "Ressource Mod Dazz lvl6" from hand or library.

-Ressource Mod - Dazz Lvl6 - Creature - Level 6 - Atk 2000 - Def 1800
At the start of the turn, put a "Sprite" counter on "Ressource Mod - Dazz Lvl6". "Ressource Mod - Dazz Lvl6" gains 200 Atk per "Sprite" counter on him. At the end of your turn, if "Ressource Member - Tigerlily" is in play, tribute "Ressource Mod - Dazz Lvl6 " and special summon "Ressource Mod - Maried Dazz Lvl9" from graveyard, hand, or library.

-Ressource Mod - Maried Dazz Lvl9 - Creature - Level 9 Atk 2400-2600
"Ressource Mod - Maried Dazz Lvl9" cannot be tribute summoned. It can only be special summoned by the effect of "Ressource Mod - Dazz Lvl6". At the start of the turn, put two "Sprite" counter on "Ressource Mod - Dazz Lvl9". "Ressource Mod - Dazz Lvl9" gains 200 Atk per "Sprite" counter on him.

-Ressource Member - Tigerlily - Creature - Level 4 Atk 1800-1200
"Ressource Member - Tigerlily" cannot be destroyed by effect or battle if "Ressource Mod - Maried Dazz Lvl9" is in play. "Ressource Member - Tigerlily" Atk is equal "Ressource Mod - Maried Dazz Lvl9" atk + 1.

Something like that ? Tongue Of course, the same could be done without the sprite counters.

Fusion doesn't necessarily need a specific monster.
Also, I'm personally against the idea of lvl monsters for specific things because they're usually awfully slow and unreliable, kind of forced into the role of boss monsters if used at all.
I'd preferably not have level monsters. We can have the system for mods, similar to turning "Elemental HERO" into "Masked HERO", but with counter requirements.

I don't think Fusion monsters are a priority to think about. Once we have all our normal monsters set down, then we can think about how they can be combined. We should decide which who will be Xyz monsters though.

Resources Acquired - Spell
Add 1 resource counter onto an applicable target, then add 1 "Resources Acquired," from your deck to your hand. You can only activate "Resources Acquired" once per turn.
Okay, the most important thing of any deck is that it has its own engine, what keeps it running.

What I propose is simple.

Resource Dazz: Level 4 Earth Warrior
ATK: 1850 Def:1000
Effect: When this card is summoned, add 1 resource counter to a monster on your side of the field. Once per turn, you can remove 1 resource counter from a monster to add 1 "resource" card to your hand. This monster cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. If a "resource" monster would be destroyed, remove 1 resource counter from this monster to negate the attack.

Resource Rob: Level 4 Earth Warrior
ATK: 1000 DEF: 2000
effect: When this card is summoned, add 2 resource counters to a monster on your side of the field. Once per turn,during main phase 2, if 2 or more resource counters were removed from a "Resource Rob", you can special summon 1 warrior-type Resource monster from your hand or graveyard to the field.

Resource Recruiter: Level 4 Earth Warrior
ATK: 1500 DEF: 1800
Effect:
When this card is normal or flip summoned, activate one of these effects
1) Add 1 "resource" monster from your deck to your hand.
2) You can normal summon an additional "Resource" monster this turn.
3)Add 2 "resource" counters to a face-up "Resource" monster.

Resource Spam Block - Trap
If an attack is declared on a "Resource" monster, remove 2 resource counters from the field and end the battle phase.

Resource Hub - Field Spell
When a "Resource" monster is normal summoned, add 1 resource counter to this card. If this card would be destroyed or an opponent's field card were to activate, you can remove 3 resource counters from this card to negate the card.
If a "Resource" monster's effect would be activated, you can use "Resource" counters from this card instead.

In short, Dazz protects resource monsters, Rob recycles them, Recruiter sets up plays.
Hub provides a more ample supply of resource counters and Spam Block gives a reason to have more, and triggers Rob's effect.

2 level 4 resource monsters
ATK : 2200 DEF : 200
If this card would be destroyed by battle or by card effects, you can detach 1 xyz material to prevent "Resource Gorsal" from being destroyed. When you do, add 1 resource counter to every card on the field.

Resource Random Talking Bush: Level 10 Earth Plant
ATK: 0 DEF: 0
This card cannot be special summoned except by its own effect. This card cannot be normal or flip summoned.
Special summon this card by removing 5 resource counters from the field. This card's attack is equal to the combined number of resource counters on the field x500.
(Can't be searched by warrior searching cards)

Resource Tigerlily: Level 4 Earth Warrior
ATK: 1700 DEF: 1000
If there is a "Resource Dazz" on your side of the field, you can special summon this card from your hand. If this card is used to xyz summon a monster and "Resource Dazz" is a material, the xyz monster cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Resource Thinks too highly of self cow : Rank 4 Dark Psychic
ATK: 2500 DEF: 2100
2 level 4 resource monsters
As long as there is a "Resource Thinks too highly of self cow" on the field, Resource monster cannot be destroyed by battle. You can detach 2 xyz materials from this monster and destroy all "Resource Thinks too highly of self cow" on the field to decrease the attack of all monsters on your opponent's side of the field by the number of resource counters on your side of the field x50.

Resource Coupling: Rank 4 earth warrior
ATK: 2300 DEF: 1000
2 resource monsters
If this monster has a "Resource Dazz" and "Resource Tiger lily" as xyz materials, it cannot be destroyed by battle. You can detach 2 xyz materials from this card to remove all resource counters from the field and gain 500 life points for each counter removed.
